Start with a magic ring,
Round 1
Ch3 counts as the first dc st,
1dc 11 times into the same space, join with sl into the top of the starting chain stitch, ch1, don't finish off color.
(12 x 1dc sts in the magic ring)
Round 2
ch2, counts as first fpdc, 1 dc into space between the prev fpdc and the next dc,
* 1 fpdc around post of next dc st, 1 dc into space between the last worked fpdc and the next dc, repeat from * until end of round, join into the top of start ch with sl, finish off color.
(12 x (1 fpdc, around dc post, 1dc in sp, ) ( 24 sts )
Round 3
Join new color with sc stitch, in space between fpdc st and dc st, ch 3, counts as first dc, 1 fpdc around post of next dc stitch,
* 1 dc into space between the last worked fpdc and the next dc, 1 fpdc around post of next dc st,
repeat from * until end of round, join into the top of start ch with sl, finish off color.
